Back in May 06 Jupiter Research predicted that 60 percent of large companies would install RSS before the end of the year and that most large companies are spending $250 000 on producing and managing a content syndication program.
I guess they have not yet heard of PRESSfeed – for less than $2,000 a year you can install RSS, add a content manegement module and have all the needed social media elements like tagging and bookmarking.
Even if you hired a full-time writer/editor to manage the process you’d still be far off $250 000.
And if you outsourced the function to an egency like e+, who specialize in RSS strategy, knowledge marketing and content syndication, your CFO would be smiling.
Their cost for producing and managing a content syndication feed is less than $30 000 a year.
