How RSS helps Search Engine Visibility

posted in RSS Submission |

Search engines take note of regularly updated content. A feed brings your site to their attention. Search engines like new content that is focused on a theme and filled with keywords. If your content is optimized, and each feed is focused on a specific area of content, it will attract both the search engines and human readers. And the more content you publish in the feed, the better search results you will get.

Because a feed is machine-readable, the search software doesn’t have to figure out which parts of your website are important and which parts are just the navigation and presentation. By registering your feeds with the search engines, news aggregator and feed directories you increase your search visibility.
